Apple releases QuickTime 7. x updates. Fixes vulnerabilities that affect both Mac & Windows users. Install software updates
to Quicktime 7.4.5.

Overview Vulnerabilities in QuickTime 7.x. Apple released software updates on 4/2/08.
Description QuickTime is multimedia software that is used by Mac & Windows users. This application also may have plug-ins installed in
web browers that display graphic & audio information found on the World Wide Web.
Impact Loss of sensitive and personal information. Systems may be compromised by unauthorized remote access. Compromised systems
may also be involved or experience denial of service symptoms.
Solutions Apply the released patches from Apple. These updates may prompt the user automatically. Below are links to more information
and direct download sites for the update software to QuickTime 7.4.5.
Other recommendations Be skeptical regarding unexpected email attachments. Only visit known trusted websites.
