Pharos Software
The Pharos software makes it possible to track department printing volume by individual user. This software will give decision makers more information on departmental printing expenses.
Pharos works in conjunction with the print driver software for a print device. It associates volume based on the BGSU username and password used to logon to a computer. This software has been in used in campus computer labs since August 2010 in order to account for student printing.
After an ITS team member completes a Pharos install, some settings on the machine may need to be set by the user. For more information on these settings, please reference the Pharos Installation Technology Guide.
