Information Technology Services has management and operational responsibility for the University's telephone switch. The current system, installed in October, 2001, is an Avaya G3R Telephone System located in Hayes Hall. Long-distance rates are $.10/per minute for all calls. The system works with the AT&T AUDIX Voice Messaging System available for faculty, staff, graduate student offices, and residence halls.

Adding, Changing, Moving and Reporting Problems with Phones

These requests should be submitted using the Telephone Assistance Forms. Services that may be requested using these forms include: New Service Activation, Temporary Service Activation, Removal/Deactivation of Service, Request to Move or Change Existing Telephone Service, Request for a Hosted Conference Call, Activate/Deactivate Department Long Distance Code, Change Display and/or Voicemail Assistance, and Reporting Telephone Problems.
