ITS - Telephone Services
ITS has recently started a project to replace the Avaya phone system with a new Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) phone system. The first phase of this project is the upgrade of the network switches across campus to install new Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches which will power the new telephones. These switches will also provide 1 gigabit connections to the desktops, and redundant 10G uplinks to each building. For your reference a listing of switch upgrades to be by building is provided for your reference. These upgrades will be completed in February and March 2013.
