Information Technology Services provides support for a number of other resources on the main campus at BGSU.
Department Labs
Department facilities are primarily controlled by a department other than Information Technology Services. ITS may provide
some or all support services, but use is limited to the respective department personnel and students.
Resource Rooms
Resource rooms are a small, shared facility in a student office or residential unit. Resource room computers are used for
word processing, email, web research, and general student use. All small group living units on campus have their own resource
room. Examples are sorority and fraternity computer labs.
Email Stations
Email stations are computers located around campus in hallways, lobbies, dining and lounge areas that students, faculty, and
staff can use to check email or use the Internet. These systems are intended to provide easy accessibility for students and
free up systems within labs for academic purposes.
Residential Computing Connection (RCC)
Residential Computing Connection (RCC), a unit of the Office of Residence Life, coordinates computing and information technology
resources and services for students living on campus. Information regarding their services can be found at
