Windows System Backup Request

This form is to request your University-owned Windows PC to be added to our new backup system on campus, Symantec Desktop Laptop Option (DLO). ITS does not currently have a backup solution for Apple computers, but is exploring options. DLO is set to back up the following folders: My Documents, Favorites, Desktop and your Outlook .PST file(s). Please make sure that any files are placed in one of these locations.

 Please be aware, however, that DLO is not a full system backup. Please fill out the following information. You will receive a confirmation email when your computer is added to the DLO system.  If your system is currently running Window's XP, you will need to be upgraded to Window's 7 before we can add you to the DLO System.
