International Student Services

Persons wishing to travel to Mexico will first need to contact the Consulate of Mexico in Detroit, Michigan to see if they will need any other documents from that Consulate for visiting Mexico.

Students and Exchange Visitors will also need to have their Form I-20 or DS-2019 signed by the Center for International Programs before leaving for Mexico and for re-entry to the United States.

The Consulate will require certain information, such as your visa status, purpose for going to Mexico, approximate time you will be entering and leaving Mexico, etc.
