| Citizens from some countries require a visa to visit Canada. If you are a citizen from one of the countries listed on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Web Site,you will need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) prior to visiting Canada. Persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence do not require a visa to visit Canada. Temporary residents of the U.S. issued a Temporary Resident Alien Card (I-688 or I-688A) MUST obtain a visa to visit Canada. Individual applications for a tourist visa must include a $75.00 (U.S.) processing fee for a single entry visa, $150.00 (U.S.) processing fee for a multiple entry visa, and $400.00 (U.S.) for a family applications (for a spouse and dependent children). Fees must be payable to the "Canadian Consulate General" in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or money order. Personal checks are not accepted.
