International Student Services

Individual applications for a tourist visa must include a $75.00 (U.S.) processing fee for a single entry visa, $150.00 (U.S.) processing fee for a multiple entry visa, and $400.00 (U.S.) for a family applications (for a spouse and dependent children). Fees must be payable to the "Canadian Consulate General" in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or money order. Personal checks are not accepted.

If a visa is required, all applicants must submit the following:

• Valid passport or travel documents (must be valid for at least one month beyond the applicant's intended date of departure from Canada)
• Valid United States I-94 departure card (all applicants for visas should be in status in the U.S. Do not submit an application without a valid original I-94. Photocopies are not acceptable.)
• Itinerary from travel agent, tickets or photocopies of tickets; if traveling by car or bus, copies of your travel plans, i.e. when and where you plan to enter and leave Canada.
• An interview may be required of any applicant.

Applications made prior to 11:00 A.M. will normally be processed the same day unless subject to special processing requirements. The Canadian Consulate is only open from 8:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
