HLC Accreditation

Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Review of
Bowling Green State University

Dear Colleagues:

As part of our reaccreditation, Bowling Green State University is pleased to welcome a group from the North Central Association Higher Learning Commission (HLC) to our campuses April 15-16, 2013.

This peer review process evaluates educational programs and services for quality and assesses efforts in continuous quality improvement. Regional reaccreditation provides assurance to our stakeholders that BGSU provides a high quality education and ensures that our students are eligible to receive federal financial aid. The University has been continuously accredited since 1916.

The accreditation team will be meeting with the University’s leadership as well as groups of students, faculty, and staff. There will also be opportunities for public comment. I hope you will attend to share your opinions about the University.

Please take a few moments to explore this site for more information about HLC and the accreditation process. If you have any questions, contact Joe Frizado, Vice Provost for Academic Operations & Assessment, at frizado@bgsu.edu.
