Current Graduate Assistantship Positions Available

Graduate assistantship positions are awarded through each individual academic department. Visit the Graduate Degree Programs page to contact departments about assistantship opportunities. Visit the College Assistantship Policies page for eligibility requirements for each academic college. Although most graduate assistantship positions are awarded through the academic departments, on occasion the Graduate College will receive notification of GA openings in other University offices/departments. These positions will be listed here. Contact the individual listed or review the accompanying job description for additional information. If your department/program/office would like to post a GA position, please send an e-mail to gradcol@bgsu.edu along with an attached position description.

University Libraries Administrative Assistantship

20hours/week.  The University Libraries (UL) Graduate Administrative Assistantship assists students with the OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) submission process. This position works in the UL Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC) located in Room 122 of the Wm. T. Jerome Library. Other duties include assistance with the daily operations of the STAC as needed.  The application review process will begin March 11,2013 and will continue until the position is filled.

Greek House Director

Description: To provide advisory support for one or more chapter(s) and facility administration for one or more Greek house(s) with 2 to 41 residents.  This position is not a graduate assistantship (i.e. does not include salary or tuition scholarship), but provides supplementary work for graduate students who have assistantships.
