Weather Update: BGSU Homecoming Parade will go on as scheduled at 4:30 p.m. today!

Parade & Pep Rally

BGSU invites you to join in the celebration of Homecoming by participating in the Homecoming Parade. Participants are encouraged to incorporate the theme "Once a Falcon, Always a Falcon" in their float designs. This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! From floats and balloons to royalty nominees and dignitaries to special entries and members of the Bowling Green community, the BGSU Homecoming parade has it all. The parade starts at 4:30, don't miss it!

The route begins downtown at S. Grove & W. Wooster and travels East on Wooster along the beautiful South edge of campus before ending at the intersection of E. Wooster and Mercer.

The Homecoming Student Steering Committee is now accepting theme registrations for all classes of floats. Float-building is a great experience for organizations and a great opportunity to fellowship with another organization through a float partnership. Forms are available now for student organizations, Colleges, departments, offices, and community members. More information on building a float and purchasing materials is available at ParadeFloatStuff.com.

Special entries comprise all entries not in the float, dignitary, or royalty nominee categories. Entries should be creative and distinctive. Ingenuity is strongly encouraged.

The Pep Rally will occur in Falcon Tailgate Park on Saturday, October 4 at 12:45 pm.

Homecoming 2014 would not be complete without a royal court! One of the most time-honored traditions at Bowling Green State University is the Homecoming celebration. We want you to be a part of Homecoming and as a member of the BGSU community, you may nominate students for the Court who are full-time students and have achieved senior status.  The nominees must be graduating in the spring, summer, or winter semester of 2015. Ideally, Homecoming Court candidates would demonstrate commitment in and out of the classroom and show BGSU spirit. The Homecoming King and Queen, elected from this Court, will serve as ambassadors for the university, as well as represent the student body.
