  • What it means in terms of implementation
  • Tour of key changes

Featured Presenter: Rebecca Fyffe, Compliance Officer, OFCCP Columbus

Topic: Affirmative Action Plan 101

Fyffe discussed what contractors may expect during an OFCCP audit, submission of written affirmative action programs and support data. She covered employment records that OFCCP may request, including areas where adverse impact and job groups where potential lack of good faith effort has been identified, differences in compensation are noted, and how a compliance evaluation is closed.

Featured Presenter: Michelle Crew, Outreach and Training Manager, EEOC Cleveland

Topic: The Past and Future of Title VII

Crew, manager of the EEOC Cleveland Field Office's outreach program, looked at the 50th anniversary of Title VII, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and discussed the future of the EEOC.
