EDUCATION ABROAD
INTERNSHIPS AND CO-OPS ABROAD
Many of you are required to complete an internship or co-op as part of your degree. Why not seek a position abroad? Even if you are not required to complete an internship as part of your degree, gaining work experience abroad within your field of study will boost your resume and give you the opportunity to have an experience unlike any other.
Many options are available to students seeking an internship abroad. Work as an intern part-time while completing coursework in your major or to fulfill general education requirements. Or seek a full-time position. Some programs locate internships to fit your needs while others simply provide you with the work permit, allowing you to locate your own position.
The Education Abroad Office as well as the Career Center offers guidance as you research your options. Download the Intern/Co-op Abroad checksheet as a guide to help you through this process and utilize the following list to help you with your web research.
