6th annual Food and Nutrition Symposium: 21st century nutrition challenges (November 14th 2014)

This research-oriented option leads to the Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences. Most students who pursue this degree intend to pursue graduate studies in nutrition, food science, or bio-molecular sciences. The degree is also excellent preparation for admission to professional schools, such as medicine or dentistry. With this degree you may enter laboratory research careers in the food, nutrition, and pharmaceutical industries, e.g. research and development, quality assurance, sales, and marketing.

Students in Nutrition Sciences have many opportunities to gain experience with laboratory instrumentation and to develop research skills in a variety of laboratory settings.
