Vikki Krane, Ph.D., WS Director and Graduate Coordinator; and professor in the School of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies. Dr. Krane has been a faculty member at BGSU since 1990 and has been a Women's Studies Affiliated faculty member since 2001. Her research, grounded in feminist and social identity perspectives, examines athletes' body image and heterosexism in sport. She is a former editor of the Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal and The Sport Psychologist. Dr. Krane also is a former president and Fellow of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).

Education: B.A., Denison University; M.A., University of Arizona; Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Courses taught: Sport and Gender, Psychology of Gender, Sport Psychology, and Qualitative Research Methods.
