FRESHMAN YEAR – FALL THFM 1610 Intro to Film (counts as A & H) THFM 1910 Script Analysis THFM 2900 Digital Tech for Film GSW 1100, 1110, or 1120 (or test out) Language (if not completed in HS) Lab Science Math (if not completed in HS) Social Science Arts & Humanities (one Lit required) Note: film majors should complete 1610, 1910, and 2620 during their freshman or sophomore years because these courses are prerequisites for the Film I, II, III series and for THFM 3650 Culture and the Moving Image; 1610 and 2620 are also requisites for THFM 3930 Concept to Distribution, which should be taken before or during the first Major Event experience, Junior Year, Fall Semester.
