The Playhouse usually employs an acting company of approximately 24 performers each season. All prospective actors must audition
in one of three ways:
Option 1 The Ohio Theatre Alliance (OTA) and USITT of Ohio presents the North Central Region auditions & technical Interviews with
representatives from Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Michigan on Saturday, January 23rd,
2010. Regional interviews and technical interviews/auditions are held in the Caldwell Hall on the campus of Muskingham College
in New Concord Ohio.

Option 2 Bowling Green State University Auditions & Interviews: January 30th, 2010. Technical interviews from 10:00 am - 12 noon and Actor/Singer auditions 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Eva Marie Saint Theatre, University Hall. Contact
the Department of Theatre & Film at (419) 372-2222 to schedule an audition time.
At the BGSU auditions and interviews you must have:
A. completed application; B. one prepared song (do not exceed 2 minutes) C. Two 2 minute monologues contrasting in style. Accompanist NOT provided. Must bring your own or a tape. Note: Dance is
optional.
Option 3 Video auditions--due no later than February 20th, 2010.
Your package must include:
A. completed application, B. DVD or VHS tape with your performance of one prepared song, C. performance of two contrasting monologues, D. a brief telling of why you have chosen the Huron Playhouse.
