Joshua Sapan, President and CEO
Joined Rainbow Media holdings, subsidiary Cablevision 14 years Entertainment division where Mr. Sapan supervised the phenomenal growth of American Movie Classics and BRAVO.
Achievements and Rise to The Top of Rainbow
In 1991 Josh Sapan was appointed Chief Operating Officer Of.  Assuming the responsibility and growth of Rainbow Sports and Advertising Sales Division.
Achievements continued
In 1995 Sapan was promoted to his current position as President and CEO of Rainbow Media.  Overseeing the National Cable Channels as well as the regional services that make Rainbow a successful and valuable company.

Rainbow Media is a company that was created  in 1980 by Cablevision to provide niche programming.
The companies first cable network Bravo debuted on 110 cable systems in 22 states.
Rainbow media offers National as well as Regional programming.

American Movie Classics
Premiere 24 hour movie network dedicated to the world of movies
AMC offers an elegant and modern entertainment destination
Ranks # 16 in size among national networks.
Independent Movie Channel
Launched in 1994, IFC is dedicated to movies made outside the Hollywood system.
Through IFC Entertainment (a division of IFC) Rainbow has become a leader in distribution and production of independent films.
WE:  Women’s Entertainment
24 hour Television network Providing “time out” TV for women
Featuring a host of Popular films and original lifestyle series on health, relationships etc.
In 2001 WE was the fastest growing cable network.
MUCHMUSIC USA
The Nations only viewer driven all music network.
Viewers voice there opinions in discovering new music and help to create music programming featured on the network.
Fastest growing network watched be teens 13-17.
Where is Rainbow Going?
Today Josh Sapan is moving towards Video on Demand Television.  MagRack launched September 28, 2002 as part of Cablevisions iO digital service.
MagRack is a video magazine stand where viewers can choose subjects relevant to them.  From Motorcycles to Wine tasting.
By the end of the year Rainbow hopes to have 40-50 selections that customers can choose from.

Josh Sapan, learned early on in his career the value of Pay TV.  Working as the President of Special Projects Sapan developed many of the methods used by today’s industry to market Pay TV.
