Achievements @ QVC Start up of “The Quest for America’s Best – QVC’s 50 in 50 tour”  Briggs also created the QVC Local, a state-of-the-art, broadcast vehicle that was used in the 1995 cross-country trip.  The QVC Local is a 45-foot customized Motorcraft coach QVC’s Studio Park, a 192,000-sqare-foot television studio, with office space for three thousand employees and includes a Studio Store.

Crowning Personal Achievements Named one of the 25 most important people in electronic retailing by Response Magazine Served as a member of the board of directors for the Electronic Retailing Association received the Delaware Valley Entrepreneur of the Year Award Humanitarian Award given by the Strang-Cornell Breast Center for the leadership role QVC has played in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Past Positions Held ·1971-1986 – Worked at The Franklin Mint as manager of the international and domestic offices   June 1986-1992 – Started at QVC as executive vice president of programming ·        1992-1993 – Became executive vice president of merchandising and programming

Positions Cont.. 1993-1994 – Became executive vice president of electronic retailing ·        1994-1995 – Became president of electronic retailing overseeing all day-to-day operations ·        1995-present – Holds the position of president and chief executive officer (CEO) of QVC, Inc.  Responsible for the QVC core channel, QVC.com, Q Direct, QVC International, Q Records and Video, QVC Products Works and Affiliate Sales and Marketing, Inc.

QVC reaches over 123 million homes in over 5 countries and to this date have brought in well over 4.3 billion dollars in sales in becoming the worlds largest electronic retailer
