So we return to the main question, how does Chappelle make racism so funny? There are many answers to this, first off its not very often you see an African American on stage making fun of his race along with everybody else's. This show as you can imagine is rated TV-MA, which means only intended for mature audiences. Another reason I think that people find this show so humorous is because with this new generation of people coming into the world, people are so sick of hearing about racism, and segregation that he puts makes this material hilarious to his viewers and lets them step back for a minute. Chappelle does whatever he wants when he wants, because he knows regardless somebody is going to find it funny. So has the question of how does Chappelle make racism so funny been answered? I think it has been explained fairly well in this paper. Regardless though I think that if you haven't seen the Chappelle Show you should defiantly take some time to watch it sometime because it will be well worth your while.
