Presentation Design Tips
Pick fonts your audience can read easily.
Use clear, easy to understand language in your slides
High contrast between font and screen colors - slides are viewed at a distance and in low light
Only use appropriate symbols, graphics or sound effects
Use slides for necessary content only
When to use Power Point
Presentation to a large audience
Presentation materials likely to be used again or may have many versions
Room well-equipped for computer use (computer, projector, projection screen) OR  displaying transparencies (with overhead projector)
Color or multimedia effects important to convey the message
Not much audience interaction is expected
Non-sleepy hours (morning, late afternoon after a break)
