The Toledo Adolescent Relationships Study (TARS) began in 2001 when we interviewed a group of teens and one of their parents. These teens were enrolled in the 7th, 9th, and 11th grades throughout Lucas County, Ohio.

Now, at the end of our fourth interviews, we find that the majority of you are out of high school and making your way in the world.

Because TARS is a study of individuals over time, we have and will continue to follow you and track the changes in your attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors regarding not only your relationships with family, friends, and significant others, but also school, work, and your overall lifestyle.
