Margaret Weinberger

Ph.D., Bowling Green State University, 2003

Margaret Weinberger is a Lecturer, and shares the position of Undergraduate Advisor with Dr. Gilbertson. She has been teaching sociology at BGSU off and on since the late 1980s, and joined the sociology department full-time in 2003. Dr. W. has a masters degree in sociology and a Ph.D. in American Culture Studies. She teaches cultural anthropology, sociological theory, and occasionally social problems, minority groups, and introductory sociology. In her classes, Dr. W. wants to help students learn how to think more deeply about their experiences, and their own role in the world. She hopes her students will share her appreciate of the richness of cultures throughout the world, and her curiosity about things generally.
