Department of Sociology

Donna R. Kauffman (Dr. K.) joined the sociology faculty at Bowling Green in May 1995.  She teaches the large Introductory Sociology sections, Minority Groups, and Social Stratification.  Her courses are designed to teach students how to evaluate and analyze ideas; specifically those ideas related to human behavior, group dynamics and human societies.  Students are challenged to be active learners in the educational process, to facilitate personal and cultural enrichment and to prepare the student for membership in a democratic society.
