Sociology majors and students! 

 The 2012-2013 Undergraduate Sociology Award Winners Announced!  The Dr. Aida Tomeh Memorial Scholarship for outstanding graduating senior was awarded to Seth Williams.  He was presented this award at the College of Arts And Sciences annual awards ceremony with Dr. Susan Brown as his favorite professor and his parents in attendance.  Seth also earned a Friends of the Library research award for a paper who wrote under Dr. Brown's supervision.  Caleb Tuvell was recognized as this year's outstanding sociology major! 

BGSU Sociology Initiates Four Students into Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD, the international sociology honor society.  This Spring 2012, we will initiate four students into the sociology honor society:  Chelsie Moorman, Caleb Tuvell, Chelsie Volpe, and Lindsay Williams.

This Year's 2011-2012 Undergraduate Sociology Award Winners Announced!  We offer three yearly awards to our undergraduate students.  Here are this year's winner's of these competitive achievements.  The recipients for this year's Dr. Aida Tomeh Award for Outstanding Graduate Senior are Nicholas Blaine and Theresa Thompson.  The recipient of the Dr. Joseph Kivlin Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Rising Junior is Sara C. Adams.  And the recipient of the Theresa Delorto Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Rising Senior is Chelsie A. Moorman.
