I will graduate in December of 2011 with a Master of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Applied Demography. I accepted a position with Southern Company in Atlanta, where I work as a Marketing Research & Support Analyst. My thesis uses Census data and explores how the recent recession has affected migration among young adults in the U.S. During my time at BGSU, I had teaching assistantship assignments with Drs. Sanchez, Porter, and Mazzarella and a research assistantship with the Center for Family and Demographic Research, where much of my work consisted of finding data and building and analyzing datasets. I also worked as an interviewer for the Toledo Adolescent Relationships Study.
