Kristy Krivickas is currently a National Center for Marriage and Family Research Fellow at Bowling Green State University.
She is a family demographer whose primary research interests are in the areas of the gendered dynamics of relationships, non-traditional
families, and parental involvement. Her dissertation examines masculinity in urban fathers and how it relates to relationship
transitions and father involvement. Additional ongoing projects include an analysis of the influence of gender traditional
marriage on depressive symptoms among newlywed couples and a study on the long-term effects of child abuse on newlywed’s communication
patterns.
