My research interests include the following: deviance, sociological theory, substance use, sociology of technology, social
psychology, and cultural anthropology. I am currently working on research examining the relationship between work intensity
and alcohol use across subgroups of adolescents defined by race/ethnicity and family structure. I have worked as a research
assistant for Dr. Raymond Swisher and Dr. Rekha Mirchandani, and am presently teaching Social Problems. My major area of concentration
is criminology.
