Cassady Pitt is a doctoral student majoring in Crime and Deviance, with a minor in Family.  Her research focuses on the impact of religious contextual factors on individual attitudes, adolescent drug/alcohol use, and voting behavior. She is specifically focused on the relationship between adolescent religiosity and deviance by socioeconomic status.  She is also currently working on research with her adviser, Raymond Swisher, on the effects of neighborhood poverty on religion and delinquency.  She also enjoys teaching Social Psychology.
