On the weekend of March 17th-19th, 2006, the Sociology Department hosted another successful Graduate Student Recruitment Weekend attended by about a dozen applicants to our program. We hosted tours of the city. Students put up the applicants in their own homes, and the students put on a great event to discuss the quality of research and teaching instruction for master's and doctoral students in our program! We closed the event with our usual great potluck party. The faculty were so proud of the graduate students who brought their energy, enthusiasm and creativity to the recruitment process!
