The Global Village has become a reality in today's global environment. Therefore, research and teaching in international/intercultural/development communication is becoming more important than ever. Transnational television/advertising/public relations, telecommunication networks in globalization, cultural imperialism, communication in development in the Third World are some of the topics/areas that are currently being examined by our faculty. We could add to this as well as examine other substantive critical, theoretical, methodological, and professional practice in this research cluster.
