Emerging Media Research Cluster
(updated February 28, 2008)
Housed in the School of Media and Communication, the Emerging Media Research Cluster promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and research on the political, economic, cultural, social and technological aspects of emerging media. It serves to develop collaborative research projects and present research on emerging media to the university at large. Currently, the core members of the group are are Drs. Josh Atkinson (Interpersonal Communication), Oliver Boyd-Barrett (Journalism and Telecommunications), Paul Cesarini (Visual Communication Technology), Tori Ekstrand (Journalism), Ellen Gorsevski (Interpersonal Communication), Louisa Ha (Telecommunications), Laura Lengel (Interpersonal Communication), Canchu Lin (Interpersonal Communication), Kim McCann (Telecommunications), Ewart Skinner (Telecommunications) and Gi Woong Yun (Telecommunications).
