The graduate program in the School of Media & Communication at Bowling Green State University offers students a variety of
options to aid them in their academic and professional pursuits. The School offers both a PhD and Masters program, through
which students study and learn to conduct research concerning topics in Global Communication, Public Communication, and Health Communication from faculty who have attained international renown through their published research and grant writing. During their time
in our program, students not only take courses from the graduate faculty, but also build collaborative working relationships
that often produce journal publications and presentations at national and international conferences. The graduate faculty
recognizes that such relationships and collaborative research are the building blocks for a strong graduate education, and
necessary for rich and fruitful careers in the fields of Media and Communication. As you read through our website, you will
learn more about our mission, subject areas, and research methods utilized by many of our graduate faculty. I invite you to
contact us with any questions that you might have concerning the graduate experience at BGSU, our graduate faculty, or opportunities
for prospective students.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to hearing from you.
