Profile

My research focuses on rhetorical and critical analysis of popular culture, with particular interest in the assumptions that underlie
cultural practices as well as the political and economic ramifications of these assumptions.  While I am broadly interested in many aspects of popular culture, much of my work focuses specifically on examination of the communicative and cultural significance of sports.
