Welcome to the School of Media and Communication (SMC) at Bowling Green State University, Ohio. We are home to over 1,000

While at BGSU, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to gain real-world experiences through on-campus and off-campus internships and study abroad experiences.
Our campus houses a daily newspaper, a television station, and two radio stations.
On the graduate level, we offer both masters and doctor of philosophy degrees with emphases in media studies and in communication & culture.
Our graduate program is known as a global center for teaching and research in Communication Studies where students come to
study with a diverse faculty who publish extensively with top publishers and academic journals.
