In addition to outside sources of financial aid, our program offers:
Graduate Assistantships. The recipient will receive a full tuition waiver during the first year and also a taxable stipend
of $4500 (Spain) or $3700 (Mexico) which may be used to help defray housing costs. Second year assistantships receive approximately
$5,700 plus a tuition and fee waiver, and non-resident fee if applicable.
PROGRAM COSTS
Students pay: (a) for their transportation to and from Spain or Mexico; (b) a $25 non-refundable AYA-application fee; (c)
university general and registration fees of approximately $468/yr; (d) a $500 Program fee; and (e) miscellaneous graduate
college application, admission and registration fees, and incidental expenses including entertainment, books, etc. (Students
in Spain who choose the family housing option also pay the difference between its cost and that of the stipend amount reduced
by taxes).
