*BGSU students who matriculated prior to Summer 2002 will receive a $144.00 fee reduction per semester.
Payments for all programs will be made in installments, directly to the Office of the Bursar of Bowling Green State University.
A complete schedule of payments will be mailed to the student upon acceptance to the program.
Please be aware that the University-governed portions of this price (the instructional and general fees) are subject to change
by the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees. In addition, room and board fees may change before the beginning
of the program due to fluctuations in the monetary exchange rate.
Because the Academic Program Abroad is a part of Bowling Green State University, financial aid that could be applied to study
on the BGSU campus can be applied equally to study in the program abroad. Outside financial aid for Academic Year Abroad programs
is handled through the University Office of Financial Aid. In addition to outside sources of financial aid, certain special
scholarships are available for Bowling Green State University students. First, the Janet M. Shanklin Memorial Scholarship
is awarded each year to selected students participating in the full academic year program (both fall and spring semesters)
plus one scholarship is awarded to a student participating in the summer program. Recipients must submit a statement on their
reasons for participating in the program and are selected by a committee from BGSU Romance and Classical Studies Department.
Second, travel grants for students participating in any program are available through the International Education Committee
of BGSU. Proposal forms for these grants are available at the Center for International Programs.
