On November 1st, Dr. Fatma Azouz, Visiting Fulbright Scholar and International journalist from Tunisia, came to speak to us about her experience. On December 2nd, following his talk, "Greatness and Modern Politics: In Search of Tocqueville's Paradoxical Moderation, "
Dr. Aurelian Craiutu , Assistant Professor of Political Science at Indiana University, Bloomington, and Visiting Scholar at the Social Philosophy
and Policy Center here at BGSU, came to La Maison Française, as a special guest. We were delighted to have the opportunity to speak to him about his presentation on Tocqueville! On January 31st, Ruthy Light , Instructor at BGSU's School of Art came to share her knowledge and passion of the 19th and 20th centuries' artistic movements
in France. Her talk, entitled "Du Romantisme au Surréalisme: l'Art dans la peinture et la littérature française," drew a
nice crowd. On March 24th, Dr. Montana Miller , Assistant Professor from the Popular Culture Department at BGSU, presented her experience as the first American to attend
The National Center for Circus Arts at Châlons-sur-Marne, France.
