General requirements/expectations:
- Residents are not expected to speak French fluently, but must have completed French 102/French 1020 OR three years of high school French.
- Residents are expected to be enthusiastic about learning and practicing the French language and are encouraged to be enrolled
in French courses at BGSU while in residency.
- Residents are required to be enrolled in French 2200, "Language and Culture through Community Living," a two-credit (satisfactory/unsatisfactory)
course, which corresponds to La Maison's activities.
- Residents are expected to abide by the French House Constitution (see link below)
- Residents are expected to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
To be considered for admission to La Maison Française, complete the special application form (pdf format), as well as the regular housing forms for Residence Life.
