La Maison provides you the opportunity to live with native French students and other BGSU students who are enthusiastic about all things Francophone.

Improve your fluency
There is always an ‘expert’ at La Maison to talk to if you have a French question or want to practice your speaking and listening comprehension.

Relax in comfort
La Maison provides a comfortable and quiet living environment with plenty of common space for doing homework and relaxing with friends.

Receive course credit
Residents earn two credits per semester for living and participating in the La Maison activities.
FREN 2200: Language and Culture through Community Living Class for French House students (3 credit-hours)

Cook in your own kitchen
La Maison has a commercial grade kitchen where you can whip up a meal and learn to cook authentic French foods.

• La Maison has home-like living facilities, including a comfortable living room, dining room, commercial grade kitchen, computer room, laundry room and terrace.
• La Maison offers a variety of room designs: singles, doubles and triples with restrooms and showers on each floor.
• La Maison provides residents with French and Francophone resources, including a diverse selection of reading materials (books, newspapers, etc.) and music, along with TV5 (a French television channel).
• La Maison residents are eligible to apply for a scholarship to study in France through the Wurzburger Memorial Fund.
