Room 416 is equipped with a sound booth, which is ideal for recording experimental stimuli with our high-end recording equipment,
and for running experiments that involve discrete auditory manipulations. One of the Dell Optiplex computers is equipped
with two monitors (one inside the sound booth), giving the experimenter the ability to see what the participant is viewing
on the screen in real-time.
Psychology Room418
Room 418 also contains a sound booth, although 418 is primarily used for running participants in experiments. MIDI signal
generating equipment is also used to present experimental stimuli.
Psychology Room426
Room 426 is where the majority of the RAP Lab experiments take place. The room is equipped with four private Dell Optiplex
PC stations allowing one to run four participants at a time. The room also has an extensive library of journals and books
relevant to RAP Lab research.
Psychology Room427
Room 427 is the RAP Lab break room and meeting area. Lab members typically use the room to take a break, get some coffee,
or eat lunch on the comfy couch. The room also has a large dry-erase board(not pictured) for brainstorming sessions during
meetings as well as two Dell PC computers.
Psychology Room428
Room 428 is equipped with two Dell Optiplex PCs plus a brand new Tobii Eye-Tracker. You will typically find lab members working
on the Infant Directed Speech(IDS) project in this room. In the near future this room will be used to run experiments which
employ the Tobii Eye-Tracker.
