Participants in this
study will read and make judgments about hypothetical social
situations. Each participant will complete the study via the World Wide
Web, using the computer of his or her choice.
You must be at least
18 years old to participate. Though some of the instructions say it
will take 'less than half an hour,' people typically take about 15
minutes to complete the session. Please note that
there are two different options (below) for participating: One option
provides no course credit; the other provides course credit for
qualified participants.
(1) No Course Credit
If you participate
via this option, you will not receive any course credit. However, you
will be entered into a lottery in which you could win a $25 gift card
from Amazon.com. To choose this option, click the link
below.
(2)
Participation
for Course Credit
If you are a Bowling Green State
University student whose
instructor offers course credit for participating, and if you
would
like to receive course credit for this study, sign up through the Experimetrix
system. Once entering Experimetrix, you'll need to find this particular
study ("Judgments about Hypothetical Social Situations") on the signup page. (And note that if you're not registered in
Experimetrix, you'll have to register before participating in the
study). You will also be entered into a
lottery in which you could win a $25 gift card from Amazon.com. If you're
unclear about whether you can get course credit
then you're likely not eligible for such credit, and you should instead
consider the 'No Course Credit' option, above.
