Special MA in Applied Philosophy II: M.A. EXAMINATION:
To complete the MA, students submit an essay, write an examination, or complete a project, and may be required to take an
oral examination, as appropriate to the student's course of study. The exact nature of the examination is determined by the
student's MA Committee and the Graduate Director and the departmental Graduate Committee.
NOTE: Students who decide during their Special MA studies that they would like to take the PhD at B.G.S.U. must apply for
the PhD program just as if they were external candidates. To complete their Special MA, they should complete the requirements
for the M.A. Examination of the PhD program. If admitted to the PhD program, they will have to complete all requirements on
the same basis as students admitted directly into the PhD program, including the PhD Core requirements.
