Students admitted to do graduate studies in philosophy are admitted either (a) directly to a program leading to the PhD, with the MA granted as part of the total program, or (b) to a Special MA program in a customized area of applied philosophy terminating with the MA. The Special MA program is not intended as preparatory to doctoral studies in philosophy.
