I am a third year instructor here at BGSU and am scheduled to defend my dissertation in Summer 2013. My primary philosophical interests are in Applied Ethics and Bioethics. My dissertation focuses on our obligations to the world's starving poor. I ask whether we have a strong obligation to sacrifice a large portion of our material possessions to help the world's worst off and answer in the affirmative.
My primary teaching interests are in Ethics and Logic but I teach a wide range of courses. I have taught courses such as Philosophy of Film, Death and Dying, Medical Ethics, Computers and Philosophy and Philosophy of Law in the past.
