What is it Like to be a Chocolate Fish?

If you recall, in the previous issue of the Chocolate Fish, there was a competition to supply a caption for the picture below.

Two bold individuals stepped forward to try to put themselves into the mind of a chocolate fish. LaShonda Fuller, a student counsellor at the Center for International Programs at BGSU, submitted this:

"I'm a book fish, not a book worm."

Adam White, one of our new graduate philosophy students at BGSU in the Fall of 2005 came up with several suggestions, one of which stood out in particular:

"No thanks, I'd rather live in the fin de siecle period."

For that groan-inducing effort, Adam deserves something, although what he deserves is open to question. We decided to be nice though and gave him his very own chocolate fish at the Fall end-of-semester party.

For the next issue, try writing a caption for this picture.

Or alternatively, try writing some new entries for the Philosophical Lexicon, based on members of our department.
