Lineback's Contributions Recognized

In February of 2002, former BGSU philosophy professor Richard Lineback made an extremely generous donation of $6000 toward new books for the Department's library.

Professor Lineback was on the faculty at Bowling Green for many years and played a key role in raising the profile of the Department through the Philosophy Documentation Center and in particular, The Philosophers' Index. In recognition of his service to the Department, to the University, and to the discipline of philosophy in general, in 2000 the Department Library was renamed the Richard Lineback Reading Room.
