The festschrift events continued on Saturday with an evening banquet.  Dr. Bingman's worked to make the event special- chicken or veggie dinners for everyone.  The group was still lively after a full day of lectures- ready to continue the conversation and fun.

 

Vern Bingman makes several announcements and keeps the Festschrift attendees entertained.  What a marvelous host.

 The main event!  An address by Jaak Panksepp and it was illuminating and energizing for everyone.  Lots of memories and even more interesting data and historical perspectives.

 

Maggie Zellner spoke about the influence Panksepp has had on her thinking and her work.  Jaak Panksepp has made a tremendous impact on the fields of clinical psychology and psychoanalysis.

 

After the address, the discussions continue --Jaak continues to engage his previous and current students- the pupils, friends and colleagues learning more about brain and affective states related to behavior & feelings.
