Dr. Ann KellyNeural Circuitry and Motivation for Food: Integration of Cognition, Reward and Energy.University of Wisconsin neuroscientist Ann Kelley, an internationally known expert on brain and behavior function, will give the 5th J. P. Scott Lecture on Monday, December 8 at 4 p.m. on Dec. 8, in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Theater (206) at BGSU.Kelley's main areas of research include analysis of the neural basis of feeding and other ingestive behaviors, circuitry-involved instrumental learning, and analysis of the behavioral and neurochemical effects of addictive drugs, such as opiates, nicotine, cocaine and amphetamine. The lecture is sponsored by the J. P. Scott Center for Neuroscience, Mind & Behavior.
