Recognition of Past Section Presidents/Chairs

Spring 1997 Meeting at Youngstown

At the banquet/business meeting at the Section meeting at Youngstown, Section President Barbara Ashton presented gavels to past Chairs/Presidents* of the Section in recognition of their many years of service to the Section. Twenty two from the last 35 years were present to receive their gavel. Each year a gavel will be presented to the outgoing President.

A generous donation was received which paid for the gavels, and the meals for those Past Presidents attending.

* The title was changed to President in 1988.
