Bowling Green State University

Position Description/Announcement

The full-time instructor will teach 24 semester hours in the academic year 2008-2009, including a variety of 100- and 200-level courses. Usual assignments include MATH 095 (Intermediate Algebra), MATH 112/122 (College Algebra I/II), MATH 115 (Introduction to Statistics), MATH 126 (Business Calculus), MATH 128 (College Algebra and Trigonometry), MATH 130 (Precalculus Mathematics), MATH 131 (Calculus and Analytic Geometry), and MATH 134/135 (Calculus and Analytic Geometry IA/IB).

A typical teaching assignment consists of three or four courses each semester (12 contact hours). However, the department tries to keep preparation for different courses to a minimum.
