In addition to the general education requirements, the International Studies major requires up to 45 hours; a minor is also required.

INST 2000: Introduction to International Studies
HIST 1510 or 1520: World Civilization or The Modern World
POLS 1710 or 1720: Introduction to Comparative Government or Introduction to International Relations
GEOG 1210 or 1220: World Geography: Eurasia and Africa, or Americas and Pacific
COMM 2100/INST 2100: Interpersonal Communication in International Context
ECON 2000 or ECON 2020-2030: Introduction to Economics, or Principles of Microeconomics AND Macroeconomics
INST 4000: Senior Seminar in International Studies
Two 3000-level courses in one foreign language; Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish are offered at BGSU
